Pink Floyd - Ummagumma (1969)

 

 Álbum doble de los de Cambridge y el primero que lanzan luego de la despedida de Syd Barrett (sin contar el soundtrack a pedido de Barbet Schroeder para su película "More"). El primer disco consta de versiones en vivo de temas ya clásicos de la banda y el segundo surge a modo de propuesta de Wright quien quería crear "música de verdad", para lo cual pidió que cada integrante compusiera algo nuevo.

A pesar de que, en décadas siguientes, cada integrante mirara con desprecio el disco, presenta el primer intento de poner en marcha este nuevo Pink Floyd, más abocado a la experimentación y al progresivo que a los viajes lisérgicos de la era Barrettiana.
